Biggest Loser Part II

BIGGEST LOSER PART II

TOTAL CONTESTANTS:  16

TOTAL LBS:  2931.4

GROUP GOAL:  LOSE 200 LBS OR MORE

Biggest Loser has begun again!  This is round 2 for most of us, but round 1 for some!  We had people enter that we never thought would!  I am just excited about round 2 as I was about round 1.

Kelly was eating oreos and drinking water all the way up to weigh in.  GOAL - 25 LBS IN 8 WKS

Kelly joins the biggest loser for the second round knowing that being in such incredible shape he had no chance of winning the first time around.  He has waited until his co-workers have reached their goals and is ready to jump in and sweep this round like Daniel LaRusso.  With bathing suit season quickly approaching, Kelly refuses to get in to that two-piece until he had dropped at least 25 pounds.   I believe this goal can be met if he stops eating starburst jelly beans, oreos and Moes every single night!

April joins us for round 2.  Funny thing, I had not officially met April until yesterday.  I had kept looking and staring at her in the safety meetings.  I had notice that she had lost a significant amount of weight, but was too embarassed to say anything.  When Kim told me she had a gal that wanted to join I was really excited.  Then April shows up and tells me she has already lost 30 pounds!  It wasn't my imagination!  Good Job APRIL!  Keep it up!!!  You have a whole team rooting you now!  GOAL - 10 LBS IN 8 WKS

Here is our lovely Kim.  She was very successful in round 1.  I have a feeling she is going to do just as well in round 2.  She said that it is on like donkey kong.  She has a plan for exercising and eating.  She better start buying smaller jeans too while she's at it.  GOAL - 20 LBS IN 8 WKS

Tammy is back for round 2.  She slacked in round 1.  I think we actually only saw her a couple times for weigh in.  But she's got a new man and a whole new attitude!  She even walked the conveyor with Judy and I yesterday.  If Tammy follows her plan, she will be very successful!  GOAL - 20-25LBS IN 8 WKS

Judy Judy Judy- our biggest losing femaile from round 1 is back for round 2.  She isn't intersted in winning.  She can't be the biggest loser, she doesn't have enough weight to lose, but she made a reasonable goal and I think she has fun being part of the competition.  Judy walked the conveyor yesterday with only 1 problem; her pants falling off!!! But that is a good problem to have.  GOAL 15 LBS IN 8 WKS

Me, well besides the awful picture... I have a goal to lose 16 more pounds.  My goal really for this round is 13 pounds, but the team made me up my number.  I probably should lose another 50 but then I'd be skinny, and who ever said being skinny was fun??? Sure as heck wasn't me.  I love my candy, fries, diet dew and junk too much. I would also like to loose my rosy big cheaks and double chin.  Man, that would be nice! GOAL 16 LBS IN 8 WKS

And in the middle of all the weigh ins... Here comes Kelly to rade my candy.  He says it was for my own good, but I know he ate it ALL.

Diane is back for round 2 also!  Its' on!  Do you see the look on her face?  She is determined to lose another 20 lbs.  There isn't going to be anything left of her.  I already think she is ready for a 2 piece but she really will be in 20 more pounds.  We are all proud of her also because of her running.  She is doing a great job.  Keep it up Diane!!  GOAL 18-20 LBS IN 8 WKS

Cody has already lost 26 lbs since the first of January.  This guy here can lift 465 lbs.  This guy is built from head to toe.  He has another 20 lbs to lose.  I believe he is one of our biggest contenders for round 2.  He is strict with his diet, strict with his exercising and is very very deterimined!  We are glad Cody joined the competition!  Good luck Cody!!  GOAL - 20 LBS IN 8 WKS

Rosa came in  yesterday ready for round 2.  She handed me a typed letter with all of her goals written down. She even let me see her weigh in.  She is going to be accountable all the way through.  Here are all of her goals:
1.  Sticking to her goals
2.  Lose 15 lbs in 8 weeks
3.  Go to the gym 3 times a week
4.  Try to have fun and smile a lot while starving!!!  :)

This is her story, and she's sticking to it!

Cindy is also ready for round 2.  She said she has a stubborn 10 lbs that never leaves.  She is ready for it to be gone.  She seems determined and ready, she just said her husband needs to stop cooking good food all the time.  GOAL - 15 LBS IN 8 WKS

Kandace is shy; YEAH RIGHT.  She is hiding behind her board for no apparent reason, but we thought it was funny.  Between round 1 and round 2 she gained 3 pounds.  She was not that upset.  Do you wanna know why she wasn't that upset?? Well because on Sunday she had 6 cokes, 3 burgers, onion rings, cheese curds, a foot long hot dog, deep fried donut holes and funnel cakes at the Gator Nationals.  I would be super stoked too if that is all I gained after that!  GOAL - 12 LBS IN 8 WKS

Tim is happy still about his big win in round 1.  He is ready for round 2.  He is being very reasonable.  He is going to aim for 2 lbs a week.  I think his goal is a really really good one!  We are all rooting for Tim.  GOAL - 16 LBS IN 8 WKS

Sarah did not do round 1 officially but she did behind the scenes and I believe she lost 10 lbs give or take 1 or 2.  Her pants are too big.  She doesn't have any belts that fit.  She said she hasn't been this small in a quite a while!  WAY TO GO SARAH!!! She is ready for round two and will a very reasonable goal.  GOAL 5 LBS IN 8 WKS
Big J is back with a vegence.  He wants to lose 22.4 pounds.  He has promised to start eating lighter and running with his darling wife and dog.  He realizes that this is a very big goal but he seems determined.  We wish you all the luck!!!  GOAL - 22.4 LBS IN 8 WEEKS

Carolina was so inspired by all of us in round 1 that she wanted to join for round 2. We think the more, the merrier!  She is Rosa's sister!  So more motivation for Rosa!  Carolina is fun and full of life and I think that she will definitely will meet her goal!  GOAL - 10 LBS IN 8 WKS

THIS IS OUR CREW!  WISH US LUCK! See you next week with our 1st week of results.  If you missed the season finale of Biggest Loser last night, you need to watch. It was inspirational, educational and emotional!  If you are looking for inspiration, its a good one to watch!!
